Welcome to the website of the Star Partnership
The Star Partnership brings together a range of statutory agencies, voluntary organisations and individual members. Its primary aim is to identify specific needs in disadvantaged areas of Rochford District and work towards establishing projects and programmes that will address these needs.
Since its beginning, Star has been particularly effective in fostering strong links between its partners. This has resulted in the creation of a variety of projects which both involve and benefit local communities. It has also been extremely successful in raising funds for its projects as grant-making bodies have recognised the effectiveness of its partnerships. Star’s achievements have been facilitated by a Community Development Co-ordinator and a Steering Group which oversees the Partnership.
